Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Application data: name, email address, country, chosen niche, and social handles/follower counts you provide.

Program data: assigned promo code, referral slug, tier, and communications with our team.

Payment data: PayPal address or bank/direct-deposit details you enter to receive payouts. Full account numbers are not displayed after entry.

Analytics: aggregated click, order, and revenue metrics used to calculate commissions; standard server logs (IP, user agent, timestamps).

Security data: two-factor authentication factors, session identifiers, and audit records (including the IP recorded when you accept the Affiliate Agreement).

2. How We Use It

Operate the Program: application review, account provisioning, commission calculation, payouts, tax reporting, and creator communications.

Protect the Program: fraud detection, security event review, and enforcement of these terms.

Improve the Site: aggregated usage analysis. We do not sell personal information.

3. Legal Basis and Consent

We collect personal information with your consent when you submit an application or accept the Affiliate Agreement. You may withdraw consent by contacting us; withdrawal will end your Program participation.

4. Storage and Retention

Data is stored in Canadian and U.S. data centres operated by our infrastructure providers. Payment records are retained for the period required by Canadian tax law. Application and account records are retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward.

5. Sharing

We share information with service providers strictly to run the Program: email delivery, hosting, database, payment processors, and analytics. Providers are bound by contract to safeguard your data.

We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the Program from fraud or abuse.

6. Your Rights (PIPEDA)

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, and withdraw consent. Requests can be sent to privacy@softmoc.com and will be answered within 30 days.

7. Security

We use TLS, row-level security, encrypted secret storage, and mandatory two-factor authentication for account holders. No system is perfectly secure; report incidents to security@softmoc.com.

8. Cookies

The Site uses first-party session cookies required for authentication. It does not currently deploy third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
